The Bible

We believe that the entire canonical Bible is the infallible, inerrant, and inspired word of God; that it is divine revelation, completely relevant, living and active, and the only authority for all matters of life and doctrine (1 Cor. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 4:12; 2 Pet. 1:21).

The Trinity

We believe that there is one true God who eternally exists as three distinct yet fully divine Persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Ex. 3:14; Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10, 11; Matt. 28; Jn. 8:58; 2 Cor. 13:14).

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the God-Man, having two natures in One person. In the incarnation, Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, dead, buried, and resurrected, ascended to heaven, and will come again in glory. He is the only Mediator between God and man (Mt. 1:20; Mk. 16:19; Jn. 1:1, 14; 3:16; 20:1-2; 1 Cor. 15::3-5; Heb. 2:17; Gal. 4:4 Phil. 2:8; 1 Pet. 3:22).

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit eternally proceeds from the Father and the Son. He applies to sinners the saving work of Christ, effecting their regeneration. He convicts the world of sin, the devil of judgment, and believers of righteousness (Jn. 14:16-26; Rom. 8:9, 26; Eph. 4:30; 1 Cor. 12:7-11; Heb. 10:29).

We believe that all humanity is made in the image and likeness of God and that human life begins at conception. Therefore we oppose taking innocent life in all forms, including abortion and euthanasia (Gen. 1:26-27; Job 31:15; Ps. 22:10; Ps. 127:3-5; Ps. 139:13-16; Jer. 1:5; Acts 17:25).

We believe that all human beings are culpable for the sin of our first parents, Adam and Eve. As a result of the fall, humankind became alienated from God, deserving of wrath, and morally unable to please Him on their own merit (Ge. 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Rom. 5:12-19).

We believe that because all have sinned, fallen humanity's only hope of being reconciled back to God is found through the atoning work of Jesus on the cross.  Those who receive God’s free grace by faith are born again, justified, adopted as children of God, made heirs with Christ, and sealed with the Holy Spirit, who guarantees life in eternity (John 3:3; Acts 4:12; Eph. 1:7; Rom. 5:10; 8:14-17; 10:9-10; Titus 3:5-6).

The Church

We believe that 50 days after the resurrection, the visible Church was established: a holy nation, royal priesthood, chosen race, God's own possession, New Israel, and the body of Christ who is its Head. The Church is comprised of believers and commissioned to make disciples of all nations, made manifest in local churches who administer the sacraments (Mt. 16:18; 1 Cor. 12:13; Rom. 5:1, 5; Eph. 1:22-23; 4:11-17; 5:27; Rev. 2-3).

End Times

We believe in the return of Christ, who currently sits on the highest seat in the cosmos and is creating a New Heavens and New Earth where humans will dwell forever.  At the moment of his coming, which time is unknown, we will be caught up in the air, transformed in glory, and brought back to the earth whereupon Christ will separate the wheat from the chaff and reign as King forever (Isa. 65:17; Mt. 24:30; Acts 1:11; 1 Cor. 15:50-54; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; Rev. 19:11-22:21).

We believe that Hell is a real place. Those who reject God’s free grace are not found in the Book of Life and will be judged in the resurrection of the wicked and given over to eternal conscious punishment in the Lake of Fire along with the devil and his angels for all eternity (Mt. 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Rev. 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8).

Gifts of the Spirit

We believe that the gifts of the Spirit did not cease with the Apostles but continue with believers today. Their purpose is the preparation of the saints for the work of the ministry to be witnesses to the world through signs and wonders. The baptism of the Holy Spirit endows every believer with the devotional gift of tongues  (Acts 1, 8. 9, 10, 18; 1 Cor 14:15)

We believe God has ordained marriage and defined it as a covenant relationship between one man, one woman, and himself. Therefore, we only recognize marriage between a biological man and a biological woman (Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:4; Eph. 5:25; 1 Pet. 3:7).

We believe that God from the beginning of time created two separate genders: male and female. (Gen. 1:26-27; Matt. 19:4; Mark 10:6-7; Psalm 139:14).

We believe there is one race, the human race, made up of a multitude of different ethnicities. We believe that scripture is the only authority sufficient enough to understand racial reconciliation; therefore we reject Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other systems of thinking that contradict unity in the blood of Christ (Mk 12:31; Acts 17:26; Rom. 2:11; Rev. 7:9-10; 2 Tim. 3:16-17).
